Show Brigham City Society j (Special to the Standard ) BRIGHAM CITY, April 1-1. The Junior Ju-nior class of tho Box Elder High school entertained the senior class at a junior prom last Friday night that eclipsed any similar event in tho history his-tory of the big school. The party was attended by several hundred students and dancing formed the principal event of tho evening During an intermission in-termission a program of speeches was rendered. Unique decorations adorned adorn-ed the spacious hall. Mesdames Orion and Clifford Jensen Jen-sen entertained the members of the Y. M. club Friday afternoon at the homo of Mrs. Orion Jensen and a dainty luncheon was served by the hpstess. After a brief business session ses-sion the time was devoted to social affairs. Present wero Mesdames Perry Per-ry Peters. Kenneth C. Wright, Orion Jensen, Frank Earl, Emory Reese, W. L. Anderson, Norman Iverson, E. P. Coburn and Clifford Jensen. Mrs. John Lelght entertained a few i friends at luncheon Thursday afternoon, after-noon, and the fololwlng guests were present: Mrs. Josephine Knudson, Mrs. Georgo Stokes, Mrs. Ethel Stokes, Mrs. Virel Johnson, Mrs. J. L. , Wight, Mrs. Hyrum Jensen, Mrs. Hy- rum S. Jensen, Misses Cloo and Leona Stokes and Oloen Goodwin. i The opera "Pocahontas" was pre- ' senlcd at the high school auditorium last night by the dramatic club of the school under tho direction of Prof. ' John G. Crook and Miss Annie l! Staines, members of vthe faculty. ' - I Dan Woodland of Malad spent a couplo of days of the woek in this ' city visiting his mother, Mrs. Laura Woodland. Mr. and Mrs. Brigham Wright are entertaining Mr. Wright's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Moses Wright of Lincoln, Ida., this week. Sunday evening Mrs. H. C. Day entertained en-tertained a party of young folks at an Easter party In honor of her brother, R. E. Minogee, and a most pleasant evening was spent. Progressive card games formed the principal features of entertainmenL The guests were Misses Luolla FIfo, Maud Forsgren, Roxy Larsen, Grace Forsgren, Lillian Halverson, Violet Madsen, Grace Hal-verson, Hal-verson, Miss Searson, Veda Hunsaker, Oletta Kelley, C.
