Show Kanarra News By Carina Williams James and Thelma Lovell received word of the birth of a granddaughter born Sept. 30 at Santa Suzanna, Calif, to their daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Dennis Jaggard. The Jaggards have three other children. Mrs. Lizzie Davis of Cedar City spent Wed. in town visiting with relatives and friends. Miss Charlinda Munford moved to Cedar City at the college apartments to attend college at SUSC. Others enrolled at SUSC are Neil and Nancy Bauer, Betty Dixon, Keith Gubler, Joe Williams and Clyde Munford. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Williams and mother, Mrs. Jane Junsaker of Hurricane spent the day here visiting relatives and friends. Mr. Boyd Reeves and children, Corey and Nevon of St. George spent the day with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams of Wendover spent the weekend here at their home. Mrs. Gwen Davis and Shelly Currey attended a stork shower in Cedar City Thursday at the home of Mauna Williams for Mrs. Darlene Carter. Mr. Alex Laurel spent a week in Valley View Medical Center to have a cataract removed from his eye. Mr. Laurel is the father of Mrs. Bertha Ramos. Dave Bess of Washington, Ut. spent Saturday here with his friend Jeffrey Williams. The relief society held their opening social Wed. the 29th for all members and their partners. A program was given by the members and sundaes and cookies were served. Hugo Ramos and daughter Diana spent the day at Page, Ariz, where Hugo attended to business. |
