Show Young Adult Tri-Regional LDS Conference A Tri-Regional Conference for the Young Adults of the LDS Church will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 8 and 9, it was announced this week. The conference is for young men and women 18 through 25 years of age. Activities will get underway Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. when Ezra Taft Benson, member of the Council of the Twelve, will be the featured speaker at a meeting to be held at the Cedar High School Auditorium. Following Elder Benson's address there will be a dance in the large ballroom in the student center on the SUSC Campus with "Water Brothers" providing the music. A special testimony meeting will be held Saturday morning at 7 a.m. on the Shakespearean Festival state. The remainder of the day will be filled with workshops with the two-day event to be concluded Saturday evening with a banquet. Leaders expect the conference to be a worthwhile experience and encourage all young adults to come and participate. Dress standards for the conference con-ference are dresses for young women, nice shirts and slacks for the young men. Conference fee is $10. All young adults from Beaver, Cedar and St. George Regions of the LDS Church are invited and encouraged to attend this special Tri-Regional Conference. |
