Show ' 1 V 1 1 u I MR. AND MRS. McRAY WOOD Wendy Ward, Mc Ray Wood united in Double-RingCeremony Miss Wendy Ward and McRay Wood became man and wife in a double ring ceremony September 4. Setting for the wedding and the reception which followed was the garden at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Wood. Parents of the bride are Mrs. Ruth Ward and the late Lloyd C. Ward. The bride wore a white gown which fell in soft folds from the empire bodice to the floor. Her finger tip veil was held by a delicate chapeau trimmed with pearls. Completing the bridal picture was the bouquet of red roses and white stephanotis. Attending the bride were Miss Susan Hill, a niece of the bride, as maid of honor; Mrs. Dorothy Carlson, the bride's sister; Mrs. Norma Mannos, Miss Susan Taysom, and Miss Elizabeth Zuda. They wore red gowns of a heavy silk polyester in a flattering flat-tering style which featured a fitted bodice, long sleeves and a draped skirt. Junior bridesmaids, Misses Heather Bryson, Amy Bryson, Heidi Wood, and Stephani Wood were nieces of the bridegroom. They wore long red dresses featuring a white lace yolk and short sleeves. Mr. Garry Wood stood as best man for his brother and the ushering was done by Kim Kenney, Scott Berry, Dave Hair, Scott Nelson, Phillip Brown, and Larry Russell. Mrs. Ward wore a floor length gown in navy blue and Mrs. Wood's was pale blue. Both mothers had corsages of red roses with white stephanotis. After honeymooning in California for a week the newlyweds are now making their home in Cedar. |
