Show Henry Nelson, State Employee, P dies, honored at Funeral Service Funeral services were held li Friday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. in the U Cedar LDS Stake Center. The family prayer was offered by Clarence Miller with Valaine Bladen playing the prelude, postlude music and Bishop Wallace Heap conducting. The invocation was offered by Nelson Bulloch followed by a musical number by Gene Roundy. The speakers were Rex Harris and Dr. J. S. Prestwich followed by i another musical number by Gene Roundy. The benediction was offered by Boyd Bladen and Zealand Murdock dedicated the grave. Burial was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. Henry Nelson,81,died Nov. 23, 1976 at the Cedar Manor Nursing Home of natural cuases. He was born Sept. 17, 1895 in Cedar City, to John Henry and Naomi Orton Nelson. Married Vera Harris June 14, 1916 in Cedar City, marriage later solomnized in the St. George Temple. He worked as a highway maintenance and construction worker for the state road. He is survived by his wife of Cedar City, sons and daughters Mrs. David (Elaine) Bulloch, Clyde, McKay, Don and Harris Nelson all of Cedar City; Mrs. Gaylen (Anna) Heppler of St. George, and Elroy Nelson of Phoenix, Arizona. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Clarence (Selena) Miller of Cedar City. |
