Mr. and Mrs. Victor Smith and family were here from Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Ricke Edwards and three children of Greenville w ere here for an overnight stay. Joining them for Thanksgiving dinner from here were Mrs. Helen Richards and Myra, and from Paragonah Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund. Also Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Robinson and children of Enoch and Mrs. Cora Lee Jackson of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Humpherys and family were happy to have Mrs. Humpherys father Mr. Lester Blake of Cedar City here to spend a day last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Allton and four boys of Orange, Calif, arrived here Friday for an overnight visit with a brother, Marc Allton and family. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Webster and family spent Thursday and Friday here with their folks Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker. The Websters reside in Cedar City. Other visitors at the Walker home Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Benson of Parowan. A baby shower for Mrs. Renee Westwood of Circleville was given by her mother Mrs. Daisy Prince, her grandmother Mrs. Ruth A. Dalley and a friend Mrs. Betty Divers at the church here on Wed. of last week. A large group of ladies from her and an aunt Mrs. Nellie Ashdown of Cedar City were here to enjoy a morning of fun and games and delicious refreshments. The guest of honor received many beautiful gifts. Bishop and Mrs. J. Frank Dalley left Tuesday by plane for Ann Arbor, Mich, to spend Thanksgiving with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dalley and two little boys. They returned home the following Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Dee El Stapley and family traveled to Murray to spend the holiday with Mrs. Stapley's mother, Mrs. Viola Nielson and to join the entire Nielson family for Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stapley and three children of Bishop, Calif, spent the Thanksgiving holiday here with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stapley. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Humpherys Hum-pherys welcomed their daughter Gail Ann and children Billye Ann, Patti Gai, and Shawn Woodard of Salt Lake City here for the holiday weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Farrow and Myra entertained family members and friends on Thanksgiving day. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garfield and baby daughter of Cedar City and Mrs. Garfield's sister who is visiting them fromn Japan, also Greg Mosdell of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Farrow traveled to Brigham City, Saturday for an overnight stay and to attend a missionary testimonial for Mrs. Farrow's foster daughter, Sister Dorothy Christensen who will leave next week to serve an LDS mission in the Sacramento, Calif, area. Mrs. Farrow was one of the speakers on the program. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker and five children traveled to Fillmore Wednesday to spend the holiday with their folks Mr. and Mrs. Henry Whicker and Loreta. Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Davenport, Daven-port, Burke and Melanie left Wednesday afternoon for Escalante and an overnight stay with Virginia's family, the Vergean Porters. Mr. and Mrs. Dannie Condie and three children spent Thanksgiving day in Cedar City with their folks, the Loraine Condies. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Farrow welcomed most of their family home for the Thanksgiving weekend . Mr. and Mrs. Gayland Farrow and three children came from San Diego, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Farrow and little daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Farrow and baby son of Salt Lake City, and were joined by the Marc Allton family here. Mr. and Mrs. Ordell Walker of Las Vegas, Nev. visited with their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Farrow last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Aston and two children of Twin Falls, Idaho arrived here last Monday to spend the week with their folks Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley. Joining them here for Thanksgiving was Kathleen Dalley of Salt Lake City and the David Dalleys from here. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Green were happy to have all of their family together over the holiday weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Green and Fred Green and a friend all of San Diego, Calif, were here to join their six younger sisters and brothers and also their grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Green. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith welcomed all of their family home for the holidays with the |
