Show Ram Grapplersopen season at Beaver ' PAROWAN - Tonight the Ra ms of Parowan High will begin their i league matches as they travel to Beaver. The match will begin at i 7 p.m. The Rams are looking forward to a successful season with a new head coach Tom Blatzer. He is assisted by Kay Lister who placed 3rd in state w rule wrestling for the Rams last year. Parowan Rams won the 3rd place in Utah last year and are looking very strong again this year. In their opening match they defeated Tabiona High 38-8 on Friday Nov. 19 in Parowan. The following day. Coach Baltzer's grapplers had a close encounter with a strong line up fromn Panguitch. At 105 Dave Hulet lost to Reed by a pin. At 112 Larry Green won over Tran by a pin. 119 Stan Benson won over Jepsen 7-1. 126 Bruce Evans won over Van Dam 9-0. 132 Gordon Mortensen won over Hardy 11-2. 138 Steve Stapley lost to Bet-tridge.
