Curtis Mitchell, PHS senior, shows off plaque awarded him by the Deseret News for being a member of their All-State Football Team. Curtis Mitchell chosen on the 1976 "All State Football Team" was chosen on the 2nd team. These boys played some very fine football at PHS during the past season. Coach Tom Baltzer was unable to make the trip to Salt Lake with Curtis so he was accompanied by track coach, Robert Tobler. PAROWAN Curtis Mitchell, a Parowan High School fullback was chosen on the Deseret News "All State Team" for 1976 and was honored last Sat. at a Banquet and at the BYU, Utah game where the all state team were guests. Curtis is a senior at Parowan High School and has participated in football since his freshman year. He has had a very out, standing record during his football career, including a 100 yard a game average during the past season. He was chosen "Back of the Year" in his Junior and Senior years at PHS and has always played excellent football. Curtis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mitchell of Parowan. Two other Ram plyers were chosen on the honorable mention lists by Deseret News; Brad Robinson, son of Mrs. Keith Evans was listed on the class AI first team honorable mention and Parowan Quarterback Donald Hulet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlisle Hulet of Summit |
