Show Pine Valley Mtn. - Geologic Oddity On the Eastern border of Dixie National Forest north of St. George, dominate the landscape land-scape of the valley rising to a height of 10,000 feet. The upper ' reaches of the Pine Valley Mountains are throught to be the world's largest example of volcanic intrusion. The outer covering of the softer rock intrusion.
