Show Joyce Gebhardt elected Sec.-Tres. of Wildlife Society wildlife management along sound biological lines and dissemination of publications and other Information that will accomplish these ends. Mrs. Gebhardt is married to Karl Gebhardt and they live In Cedar City. of The Wildlife Society and was the Utah Chapter Newsletter editor for two years. The Central Mountains and Plains Section of the Wildlife Society includes wildlife professionals in seven states and two Canadian Provinces (Kansas. Colorado. Nebraska. Joyce Gebhardt, Wildlife Biologist with the Bureau of Land Management In Cedar City, has been elected to the office of secretary-treasurer of the Central Mountains and Plains Section of the Wildlife Society. The CM&P Section held its summer conference August 15-18, 15-18, 1976 In Junction City, Kansas. It was at this conference that Mrs. Gebhardt was elected to the office for which she will serve during the 1976-77 year. Mrs. Gebhardt was born in Utah. She attended the University of Utah and Utah State University receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree from USU In 1975. She was awarded the first Cot torn Conservation Internship from the National Wildlife Federation (NWF), She worked in Washington D.C. for the NWF as a writer, wildlife advisor and congressional liaison from March to June 1974. She was a student trainee for BLM in the Salt Lake District for three years (1973-1975). Presently she is a wildlife biologist in the Bureau of Land Management Cedar City District assisting with preparation of BLM's grazing environmental statement for Southern Utah. She is a member South Dakota, Wyoming, North Dakota, Utah, Saskatchewon, Manitoba).
