Whatdo you know aboutthe educational process? A. I have a degree in Psychology with training in Learning Theory and Child Psychology. Q. Why are you personally concerned about education in Iron County? A. I have four children of my own who will probably receive all their schooling in Iron County. Q. Are you concerned about the trends of some new text books and teaching methods? A. Yes, I am. I believe all new texts and teaching methods need to be closely examined to determine whether they are applicable to ourschool system and our standards. He believes County taxes should be geared to provide only such basic services as : Good Law Enforcement Basic Education, Fire and Flood Protection, Public Health, Waste Disposal, Roads and help where needed for the old and unfortunate. He feels we DO NOT NEED and cannotafford the complete socialistic welfare state. 4. He believes in good Growth and Land Use Planning at LOCAL levels. 5. He holds very dear the principles spelled out in State and National Constitutions. 6 . He. welcom e s good com m u n icatio n , constructive criticism and advice. 7.
