Show Happy Homemaking Hints by 1 Janet H. Weaver A dear neighbor, Mrs. Alta Porter shared a bottle of Peach Raspberry Jam with us and now I can't wait to try it. Here's the recipe. . ., Peach Raspberry Jam 5 cups sugar 4 cups peaches, peeled and mashed 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen raspberries, rasp-berries, thawed 1 pkg. (3 oz) raspberry flavored gelatin Mix sugar, peaches, and raspberries in a large saucepan. Stir and bring to a rolling boil. Stirring constantly, boil for 15 4 minutes. Thoroughly stir in raspberry gelatin. Pour into hot, sterilized jars. Wipe rims clean. Cover with self-sealing lids or parafin. Yield: 8 half pint jars. Note: For a variation you could use a 10 oz. package of frozen strawberries instead of, raspberries, and use a 3 oz pkg: of strawberry flavored gelatin instead of raspberry. With canning season in full swing, how about you good cooks out there sharing your favorite recipe for jam, preserves, pickles, or whatever.
