Dalley dies at 87; services set Funeral services for Ronald Jones Dalley, 87, will be held Saturday, Sept. 11 at 11:00 a. m. in the Cedar Cecond IDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary Friday from 7:00 to9:00 p.m. and Saturday Vfc hours prior to services. Burial will be in the Summit Cemetery. Mr. Dalley died Sept. 7, 1976 at the home of a daughter in Cedar City of natural causes. He was ' born Aug. 5, 1889 in Summit, ' Utah to Nielson Bertelson and Mary Crosby Jones Dalley. He married Margery Mutch Hiskey Feb. 28, 1914, in Loa, Utah. The marriage was solomized in the Manti IDS Temple June 25, 1926. Mrs. Dalley died April 4, 1973. 1 Mr. Dalley graduated from Branch Normal College in Cedar City and attended the Utah State Agricultural College and the University of Utah. He taught school in Wayne County for 35 years where he also was a livestock and poultry farmer for over 50 years. ! He is survived by two sons and four daughters: R. Rex, Helena, Mont. ; John C, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Bert (Ada) Carpenter, Mrs. Gordon (IvaJ Bringhurst, and Mrs. Richard (Fern) Urie, all of Cedar City; and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Twitchell, Murray. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; four brothers and a sister: Otto P, , Summit; Stanley J., Provo; Jesse E and Orien E, both of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and Mrs. Walter (Hazel) Granger, Cedar City. |
