Show SUMMIT By Donna- Darenport , i Three of our young men took part in the Parowan Stake Quarterly Quar-terly Conference Sunday. They were Bryce Stnpley, Keith Hum-pherys Hum-pherys and Gardiner Dalley. Mrs. Violet Hulet entertained the ladies of the Parowan Stake) keiier Society board at her home one morning last week. The brunch was in honor of President iBertrude Mitchell, who with her husband, Harold Mitchell, will leave next Monday for Hawaii, to serve an LDS mission. Mrs. Violet Hulct was sustain-;ed sustain-;ed in the stake conference as the jnew stake Relief Society President Presi-dent She has served as second counselor In the presidency for several years. The Parowan Stake IIih Priests party was held here Friday Fri-day evening under the direction of Lyle Farrow. A fine program was enjoyed by a larre number of High Priests and their wives. Pres. and Mrs. Harold Mitchell were honored euests and Loth spoke briefly after which pie and I ice cream was served. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Williamson spent Friday night here with Mrs. Williamson's mother, Mrs. Hulda Peterson, returning to their home in Las Vein. Nov., Saturday, taking Mrs. Peterson with them for a visit. Miss Sue Murray of Tucson, Ariz., a student at CSU, and Francis Farrow, spent the weok end here with the Inffe' folks. Mr. and Mrs. Ravmond Farrow. Miss Connie Dvnport was home from the CSU over the past week end. Little Lynett Adorns of Salt Lake City. Is here visiting with her prandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farow at present. Bertrand Dalley is in the Iron County Hispital recovering satisfactorily satis-factorily from a malor operation performed there Saturday. Miss Bonnie Dalley, daughter of Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley Dal-ley and a senior at Cear City Hl?h School tra'eleH to Salt Lake City Saturday to attend the J C Youth Conference. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Davenport Daven-port of Paraonah vlsltod nt the home of their son Jay Davennort here last Wednesday. A daughter, Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson, and Holly also visited here. |
