State Building Board To Ask for More CSU Spending With three buildings under construction on the College ol Southern Utah campus at a total to-tal cost of nearly $1,500,000, the Utah State Building Board has announced plans to include two additional buildings at a cost of approximately $1,000,000, in the proposed building program to be presented to the state legislature legisla-ture for approval at the next session ses-sion of that body. One of the two buildings to be included in the proposed program, pro-gram, it is understood, is a new gymnasium-fieldhouse, either a new structure or remodeling and expanding of the present field-house. field-house. Construction is under way on the campus at the present time, on a new science building which will include 35 classrooms and other f7cllitles, and is to be completed com-pleted at a cost of $900,000; a new student center and a new women's dormitory. All three structures are expected to be ready for use during the 1961-62 school year. |
