Parker Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the Kanarraville Ward cha- ; pel for John Davis Parker. 70. ,who died Nov. 9, in Vista, Calif, of a heart attack. Burial was in the Kanarraville cemeterv. Mr. Parker was born In Kanarraville Kanar-raville on June 18, 181W. a sen of Charles and Elizabeth Ann Dav- is Parker. I He Is survived by his widow Effa Mullincr Parker, Vista. Calif., Cal-if., and the following sons and daughters. Burns Parker, Monterey, Monte-rey, Calif.; Van Parker, San Diego, Die-go, Calif.; Tex Parker, Vista, Calif.; Melvin Parker, Norwalk, Calif.; Mrs. Diana Saber, Mrs. Verdaun Pitts, California. Also surviving are the following bro- i thera and sisters: Mrs. Laura Wood. Mrs. Zina Pollock, both of ' Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ester Robb, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Sophia Stap-ley, Stap-ley, Provo; Mrs. Ahlena Williams, Kanarraville; R.' C. Parker, Las Vegas, y.c ., and Siuce ranker, Panguitch. ! The funeral services were conducted con-ducted by Bishop J. F. Williams. Speakers were Dr. J. S. Prest-wich Prest-wich of Cedar City, Preston Williams Wil-liams and Alton Ford, with remarks re-marks by Bishop Williams. In- vocation was by Junius F. Williams, Wil-liams, benediction by Erwin Williams Wil-liams and the dedicatory prayer at the Kanarra cemetery by William Wil-liam Esplin. |
