Show Officers Named for Stake Organization Several changes In the personnel person-nel of Parowan Stake organizations organiza-tions were made at the quarterly conference last week end, with two of them caused by Mr. and Mrs. J. Harold Mitchell's leaving the stake to serve as missionaries missionar-ies in Hawaiian Islands. Mrs. Mitchell, with her counselors, coun-selors, Violet Hulet and Nellie Bentley, were released as the! presidency of the stake Relief Society, and Mrs. Hulet was sustained sus-tained as the new president. She chose Mrs. Bentley as her first counselor with Alice C. Mitchell being called as second counselor in the organization. Released as president of the stake High Priests quorum were Mr. Mitchell as president, with his counselors Elmer O. Gurr and R. Taylor Miller. Sustained as president of the quorum was J. Stanford Jones with Elder Gurr and Edgar Benson as his cou.' selors, with Silas Topham remaining re-maining as secretary. Verl E. Taylor and Orland W. Evans were released as assistants to Karl O. Mitchell in the stake YMMIA and James L. Benson and Saunders M. Clark were sustained sus-tained in their stead Mrs. Leilani Bentley was released re-leased from the stake board of the Sunday School with no replacement re-placement and Mrs. Rhea Armstrong Arm-strong was made a member of the board of the stake YWMIA. |
