His plans at present are to begin college at CSU when the winter quarter commences. The Kay Lamoreaux family spent Saturday in St. George doing do-ing work in the LDS temple. They were accompanied on the trip by Mr. and Mrs. Louis Davenport Dav-enport and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Doug-las Davenport, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux, Mn Erma Lamor-cm::, Lamor-cm::, Mrs. Ililm.i Lamoreaux and j by Bishop and Mrs. Gordon Farnsworth of Parowan. jtair.ed at a bMhday party for her son David on Friday afternoon after-noon of last week. A large group of children enjoyed a happy time together. Mrs. Elsie Crinkerhoff and son Cloyd of Glendale were visitors in Paragonah Monday. Rex Maxwell Max-well of Cedar City spent some time here enroute to his home after a stay in a Provo hospital for X-ray treatments. Mrs. Vera Gibson and daughter Kathy with Mrs. Clara Hollowood were here from Cedar City. Mrs. Maxine Barton, son Leslie and daughters Phvllis and Mar'c and the latter's fiance, T. d B-arV shaw, all of Milford, snent sw tlm at the Lund home Saturday and wre dinner quests there. They also visited with Mrs. Barton's Bar-ton's husband's people. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards i loft t"wn on Monday for an extended ex-tended winter trip. Mrs. L'll's Spencer came to take them to Cedar City for an overnight stay before thev left fnr Portland, Oe. to spend the Thankslvln holiday with their son, Ci'f'nrd Edwards and his family. Following Follow-ing that they nlanned to snend some time with their son Max nd daughters Tamson and Hazel Haz-el and their families in California, Califor-nia, remaining there until after the first of the year. I Mr. and M-s. Willard Daltnn were here from Salt Lake City for several days last week. They cme on account of the death of Willard's grandmother, Mrs. Mary Ann Reese. Mr. and Mrs Farrell Ronb anrl their small son were here from .Salt Lake City for the week end Mrs. Dolores Robinson enter- Mrs. Cathryn Lund of Provo and her son Elder William Lund who was returning from a mission mis-sion to England, were visitors la -tte..Wilson Lund home on Thursday "of fa"SV?eMjajid Mrs. Lund met their son in New York City and made the trip across the United States with htm. Mr. Lund stopped off at Eager, Ea-ger, Ariz., to visit with relatives there.' Large numbers of Paragonah people left town on Saturday to attend funeral services In Beaver Bea-ver and Parowan. Mr. r.n-1 Mr.?. J. ! Drlt::i, T.IV. Dalton, the David Dalto:i end Jack Dalton families all went to Beaver for the Reese funeral. Mrs. Helen Jean Stubbs came from Cedar City to join family mem-j mem-j bers for the occasion. Numerous other relatives and friends also made the trip to Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Robinson went to Parowan to attend the services for their little niece. Laurel Ann Rowley. Walter Tel'oot fnjoyed a fine trip to Sal'. Mr. Talbot, Tal-bot, a veteran of World War I, Was one of the thousands of special spe-cial gueitS -aJLthe Veterans Day concert held in tnff-?b9rnacle, oil Friday evening. On Saturday he attended the 42nd annual reunion of the 114th Field Artillery Division. Mr. Talbot Tal-bot was a member of Battery B of that group. He reports that approximately ap-proximately 400 members attended attend-ed th? meeting and banquet. He had a fine time meeting old associates. as-sociates. DUP meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the home of Mrs. Mary C. Williamson. Time of the meeting is set for 2 p.m. .and all ladies of the community are invited to attend. |
