Show Kenneth Adams, Doug Rowley Accept Church Mission Calls Two more young men from Parowan have received calls to fill missions for the LDS church and will enter the mission home in Salt Lake City on Monday. Doc. 5 for training prior to leaving leav-ing for their field of labors. Kenneth II. Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. Adams, has been called to serve in the Southern . States mission for the next two years as a representative of the Parowan First Ward. Kenneth has been working for the past year at the Clearfield plant of the Sperry-Rand Corporation, a position he received following a special examination in electronics electron-ics taken when he attended CSU in Cedar City over a year," ago. At the time of his call he had just received a promotion to No. 1 machinist at the plant. An active member of Parowan First Ward prior to leaving here, he has been active In his ward at Kaysvllle for the past year. Douglas Rowley, son of Pres. and Mrs. W. Clair Rowley, has been called to labor in the French Mission for the Church for the next two and one-half years. Elder Rowley will also enter en-ter the mission home on Monday, Dec. 5 prior to leaving for his field of labors, j Douglas tas been an active member of the Parowan Third Ward which he will represent In the mission field. He is a graduate grad-uate of Parowan High School and has attended College of Southern South-ern Utah for the past year. |
