Show NEW HARMONY By Vada Grant Fern Hall. Sylvia Hall and Vada Va-da Grant went to Newcastle Friday Fri-day to visit with their sister, Bea Piatt. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prince and daughter La u red a spent the last week end visiting in Logan and Riverside with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ramage and Ronald Prince. Ronald Ron-ald is attending school in Logan Lo-gan and Mr. Ramage teaches at Tremonton. Ray Grant and Lurene Taylor are in Las Vegas, Nev., visiting Mr. and Mrs. Kent L. Grant and family. They went down to attend at-tend the wedding of their granddaughter grand-daughter Penny Jo Grant on Thursday. Mrs. Taylor is also visiting wiah another daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Ar-jdell Ar-jdell Walker. ' Venice Prince returned home Sunday from Los Angeles, Calif. I where she has been for the past itwo weeks visiting with Mr. and I Mrs. Hal Torgersen and family. I Mr. and Mrs. Torgersen are the proud parents of a new baby boy, born on the 30th day of October. Some of our townspeople attended at-tended funeral services in Ka-narraville Ka-narraville on Saturday for Dee Parker. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hall attended attend-ed funeral service in Enterprise on Thursday for Mr. Hall's grand nephew, Jim Drake. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Railsback of Fillmore spent the week end here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Relden Hall. Joan Woolsey and baby boy of Cedar City spent the week end here visiting Mr. and Mrs. An-thon An-thon Pace. Also visiting the Paces on Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Royal Blake of St. George. Viola Kelsey and Mamie Huntsman Hunts-man attended back-to-school night at the Cedar City High School on Thursday evening. A speclar Fireside was sponsored spon-sored by the Ward M I A on Sunday Sun-day evening at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Dean Hall. Annabelle Rencher Is horhe after af-ter a week's visit in Cedar City with Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Graff and children. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pearce this week were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kossen of Henderson, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. Dee Blackburn Black-burn and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Davis, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cripps and son Lonny, all of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Leavitt of Bunkerville, Nev., visited here on Saturday with friends. Sylvia Pace spent several days this week visiting in Salt Lake City with her daughter Jean Pace. Nancy Prince has been ill the past week resulting from a fall. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Hammond have moved to St George for the winter months. |
