Show Mary Ann Reese, 98, Dies in Paragonah Mrs. Mary Ann Reese, 98, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Dalton of Paragonah. Para-gonah. She had been bedfast for several weeks. Mrs. Reese was a resident of Beaver most of her life but had spent the past ten years at the Dalton home in Paragonah. Para-gonah. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in Beaver Saturday and burial was in the Beaver cemetery. Bishop Chase Murdock conducted con-ducted the services, with George Williams of LaVerkln and Mel Heslington as speakers. j Mrs. Reese was born Dec. 31, 1861 In Greenville, Beaver County, Coun-ty, a daughter of Thomas and Ruth Williams Reese, LDS converts con-verts from Wales. Her girlhood days were spent In Greenville and In 1878 she married David L. Reese. They lived in Frisco for some time where Mr. Reese was engaged in silver mining until he lost both hands in a mine explosion. ex-plosion. They engaged in farming in Greenville for some time, and later moved to Beaver where they established a mercantile business. busi-ness. Mr. Reese died in November of 1927, and his wife continued to operate the store many years. I Mrs. Reese is survived by two 'daughters Mrs. Nellie Dalton, Paragonah and Mrs. Julia Ed-j Ed-j wards of Beaver, and a son Sidney Sid-ney Reese of Riverside. California. Califor-nia.
