Show KANAIMAVIUE NEWS I (Mrs. Hannah Davis) Sons were born 'at' the Iron County hospital last week to Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bauer. Mrs. Elda Fife and children of Summit were Sunday visitors bete with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams have returned home after spending spend-ing a few months In California. .We have several cases of mumps and chicken pox here among the children. Visitors in Las Vegas and Hen- j derson last week w-re W. C. Beeves. Mr. and Mrs. Ren Williams, Wil-liams, Lynn Reeves and Mr. and Mrs. Preston WUliams. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Woodbury and children and Dean Davis were here a few days from Las Vegas visiting relatives. Several of our people attended the Hifih School band concert at Cedar City Saturday evening. Our school enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon with a visit from the Sixth Grade from the West Elementary school from Cedar Ce-dar City under the leadership of their teacher, Lamond Beatty. They enjoyed a basketball game, program and dance. Our school gave a smorgasbord, smorgas-bord, fish pond and bake sale and gave away a nice quilt made by the students. Mrs. Ethna Ford received the quUt. The money received was to buy books for the library. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Williams and family of Boulder Cily, Nev., visited here for a short time with Paul's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams. Verd Williams of Cedar City visited here Sunday with his mother, Ethna Ford. Several of the Stake M. I. A. officers attended our Mutual meeting last week. Mary Ada Gardner of St. Ceerge talked to our school chUd- ren on Tuesday, telling them of her stay in Finland and showed! slides of the country. I |
