Show Livestock Association Sets Annual Report, Planning Meet The annual meeting of the Southern Utah Livestock Show Association will be held Saturday, Satur-day, March 10, C L. Ewing, show president, announces. Principal purpose of the annual an-nual meeting, Mr. Ewing said, Is to hear a detailed financial report re-port of the 1955 show, and to discuss plans for the 1956 show together with possible ways of improving the annual event. The meeting will be held- at El Escalante Hotel where a luncheon lunch-eon wlU be served, after which the financial report will be given by Nell K. Boyter, secretary. County officials, livestock lead ers and 4-H and FFA directors of five counties of southern Utah have been Invited to attend. Anyone Any-one interested In the annual show and Its contribution to the livestock Industry is invited to attend. A large crowd Is expected to be present. In addition to the financial report, some time will be spent on the discussion of plans for the construction of a permanent show barn for the annual event, it is the hope of association officers, offi-cers, Mr. Ewing says, that the proposed building can be completed com-pleted in time for the 1956 show. Other plans for the annual event will be discussed at the meeting on Saturday. |
