Show "Mission 66" Gaining Support in Washington Arthur F. Bruhn, chairman of. the board of directors of the Zion-Bryce Zion-Bryce Natural History Association, Associa-tion, met with Congressman H. A. Dixon in Washington this week to enlist his cooperation and support in important projects pro-jects to promote southern Utah. Mr. Bruhn pointed out the need for adequate museum facilities in Zion NationaJ Park, stating that present facilities seriously handicap han-dicap the tourist who desires information in-formation regarding the natural features of that world famed area. Under present circumstanc es a maximum of 12 automobiles can park in the limited and dangerous dan-gerous area in front of the small museum. In a luncheon given . by Congressman Con-gressman Dixon and attended by Congressman William A. Dawson Daw-son and Senator Arthur V. Wat-kins, Wat-kins, Mr. Bruhn was told that Mission 06 to improve park facilities facili-ties generally appeared to be gaining general support in the legislative halls. |
