Show Rules, Regulations Governing Students at Tourney j With the Parowan High School basketball team participating in the state Class B tournament that opens next Wednesday in the George Albert Smith fieldhouse in Provo, the school administration, administra-tion, assuming that a large number num-ber of the students will be in attendance at the meet, is setting up rules' and regulations to govern gov-ern the conduct of those students who attend, announced PrlncipaJ Max Dalley. The rules and regulations will be about the same as last year with parents of students signing agreements to see that regular transportation is provided to Provo Pro-vo and return, that reservations be made for suitable lodgings for those who go, and that they will be properly supervised and chaperoned while there. Students who go up will be heJd to these regulations with parents and other older person? urged to look after the welfare of the young people. Any student who goes to Provo, and conducts himself in a manner which reflects against the community com-munity and school may be loaded load-ed on a bus and sent home. In order for students not to miss so much school, Principal Dalley states that arrangements have been made to hold school this Saturday, Mar. 10, and then dismiss school Wednesday of next week, which will go with the annual spring vacation on Thursday and Friday, to give those who are going to the tournament tour-nament an opportunity to see the opening day's games. Mr. Dalley also adds that the plan to take the band to Provo has been abandoned. At a meeting of the Band Mothers' organization last week, very little enthusiasm was found for such an undertaking. |
