Show CEDAR WINS CHAMPIONSHIP i Division Basketball Race Ends Friday night finalized the Dixie Division basketball schedule and for three teams of the six participating, parti-cipating, it was the final game of the season. The Cedar' City Redmen, although al-though defeated in their final game by Dixie at St. George, nevertheless, wound up the division di-vision champions. The final standings and records rec-ords of the division teams are I as follows: I Cedar 8 2 .800 Dixie 7 3 .700 Hurricane 7 3 .700 Kanab 5 5 .500 Enterprise .' 2 8 .200 ; Valley 19 .100 I Dixie and Hurricane wound up in a tie for second place in a race that developed rather unnaturally un-naturally this season. Those two teams as a result, will meet this week end, with the second and third place teams from the Mil-lard Mil-lard Division with a Class B. tournament berth at stake. (See playoff story). For the second division clubs of the division, Kanab, Enter-; prise and Valley, Friday's games ended the season. Kanab, finishing finish-ing In fourth place, was somewhat some-what instrumental in the league championship in that they defeated de-feated Dixie and Hurricane to help boost the Redmen into the top spot. Enterprise also played an Important Im-portant part in the league outcome out-come when that team defeated the Flyers two weeks ago. Cedar suffered two defeats during dur-ing the season, both administered administer-ed by the Dixie Flyers.
