Show T-Birds' Encounter j With Carbon Results in Defeat ' A blocked punt and a nullified touchdown play were utilized by the Carbon Eagles Friday afternoon after-noon to defeat the College of Southern Utah Thunderblrds by a score of 19 to 11. The CSU T-Birds, looking for their first win of the season, scored first in the first quarter of play on a sustained drive led by quarterback Dennis Bulloch, who engineered the Thunderbird offense. Jim Marshall at halfback half-back aivl Son Sudbury at full-' full-' back did most of the packing I and the CSU forward wall came up with the blocking to sustain the 80 yard march. Sudbury did the scoring on a three yard plunge and Ted Taylor booted the extra point.
