Monmouth, N. J. Developed by the Army Signal Corps, the VRC (Vehicular Radio Communication) Commu-nication) system provides for voice communication among tanks and similar vehicles up to 25 miles distance and covers 920 different channels. Weighing approximately 102 pounds, the VRC is produced for the Army by the Avco Corp., Cincinnati, O. |
