Show Literary Group Sees Demonstration On Civil Defense At the meeting of the Parowan Literary Club, held last Wednesday Wednes-day eve.ilng, the civil defense program was the topic discussed. The meeting was held in the general purpose room of the Parowan Par-owan Elementary School, with the public invited to see a demonstration dem-onstration by the First Aid team from the Columbia Iron Mines, according to Mrs. W. Clair Rowley, Row-ley, who states that the meet ing was well attended. Following the meeting the Literary Lit-erary Club members went to the home of Mrs. Thales Brown where Mrs. A. C. Hatch and Mrs. A. Hills Orton continued the discussion dis-cussion of the evening's topic for a short period, after which luncheon lunch-eon was served by Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Orton. The next meeting of the club will be held Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the home of Mrs. Max Hen-i drickson where the topic for the evening will be "Indian Lore." Mrs. Jess Guymon will assist Mrs. Hendrickson in giving the topic. Mrs. Hendrickson and Mrs. Clifton Clif-ton Taylor will be hostesses for the evening. |
