Show Girl Scout Leaders Will Conduct Neighborhood Meet Girl Scout and Brownie Scout troop leaders will meet Friday morning at 9:30 a. m. for their N e i g hborhood Meeting at the home of Connie David, 283 South Main Street Honored guests will be Miss Marie Thompson, Executive Director Dir-ector of the Utah Girl Scout Council, and Miss Dorothy Cap-ener, Cap-ener, District Advisor, also from the Council in Salt Lake City. Members of Brownie Troop No. 161 and Scout Troops No 107 and No. 495 met Monday afternoon in the basement of the Elks Lodge for a song fest together. The purpose of the meeting was to sing old songs and to acquaint ac-quaint the girls with many new Girl Scout songs. Leaders and nocicta nt lnaHdM helping tO 2- sure a good time were Connie David, Charlene Reynolds, Louise Savage, and Mary Robertson. Members from all Cedar City troops will meet in front of the Post Office Saturday morning at 10:30 a. m., during which time they will plant daffodil and tulip bulbs. The planting will be celebration of the Girl Scouts' 50th Anniversary, to be observed during March of next year. |
