Show Carol Kohler Teaches H. S. Home Economics ft- CAROL KOHLER Carol Kohler, an experienced homemaking teacher, is at Cedar , City High School for the first time this year. Miss Kohler, a native of Midway, Mid-way, Utah, and a graduate of Wasatch High School in Heber City, was homemaking teacher at Duchesne High School for the past two years. She was also vocational vo-cational home economics teacher during the summer months for both Duschesne and Altamont High Schools. She was graduated from Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University with a B. S. degree with a composite major in home economics. She is a member of both the Utah and American Vocational and Home Economics Associations. While at BYU she was a member mem-ber of the Home Economics Club, arid during her senior year worked work-ed as a student consultant in home economics In a College of Family Living sponsored program pro-gram for coeds living in Heritage Halls. During the past summer Miss Kohler accompanied two Cedar City girls, Karen Ketchie and Linda Jones, to the National Convention Con-vention of Future Homemakers of America. The convention was held in St. Louis, Mo., and was attended by Karen as national treasurer and Linda as president of the Utah Chapter of Future Homemakers. |
