Show 1 Ronald C.Morgan Named Mine Engineer I A former Cedar City resident is one of four men to receive major appointments to the operations staff of U. S. Steel's Atlantic City Iron Ore Mine, near Lander, Wyoming, Wy-oming, it was announced recently recent-ly by Stanley H. Cohlmeyer, general gen-eral superintendent. He is Ronald C. Morgan and has been appointed as mine engineer en-gineer for the new operation. Morgan completed both a B. S. degree in mining engineering, and a M. S. degree in business administration at the University of California. He was associated with U. S. Vanadium Corporation before joining U. S. Steel's Columbia Co-lumbia Iron Mining Company at Cedar City in 1950. After a number of promotions here he was named assistant to project manager coordination and control for the Atlantic City Project in 1957. Also a member of the American Ameri-can Institute of Mining, Metallurgical Metal-lurgical and Petroleum Engln- eers, Morgan and his family now live at 812 South Sixth Street in Lander. Mrs. Lander is the former form-er Barbara Pace of Cedar City. |
