Show Services Pay Tribute To RhodaFfoy Willis, Cedar Native Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Cedar First-Fifth Ward Chapel Wednesday afternoon after-noon for Mrs. Rhoda May Bladen Willis, 77, who died Sunday, Nov. 5th. Services were conducted by Bp. Ray Baumgartner of the Fifth Ward. Speakers were Harry H. Lunt and Warren Bulloch, with remarks by the Bishop. Invocation was by Homer S. Jones, benediction by Don W. Draper, and dedication of the jrroV by RUhnn Klwyn Halter- rian. Prayer at the mortuary prior to the services was by Frank Holmes. The musical program included numbers bv a ladies tHo composed com-posed of Aliene Hyatt, Bobbette bauer and Yvonne Vorkink, accompanied ac-companied by Cathy Knight, and a mixed quartet composed of Ray Cosslett, Wm. Condie, Lois McConnell and Mamie Eick, accompanied ac-companied by Beth Leigh. Prelude Pre-lude and posilude music was by Belle Jones. Mrs. Willis was born in Cedar City on Oct. 26, 1881, a daughter of Thomas Samuel and Elizabeth Ellen Adams Bladen, and had spent her life here. On Dec. 21, 1912, she married Lemuel William Wil-liam Willis in the St. George LDS I Temple. I Survivors include three sons, Max Bladen Willis, Cedar City; Jay C. Willis. Ogden, and Thur-man Thur-man A. Willis, Hanson, Idaho; ten grandchildren, one brother, Thomas Bladen, and two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Elizabeth) Ence, and Mrs. Bert (Zella) McConnell, all of Cedar City. |
