Show Former Cedar City Student Summoned to Mission f-.. ; CARLYLE DALLEY I A former student at College of Southern Utah has been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Carlyle M. Dalley, a son of Rue B. and the late Maude Mor-tensen Mor-tensen Dalley of Henderson, Nev., and former CSU student a"d prominent athlete, has been called call-ed from the Holladny 13th Ward in Salt Lake City, to fill a two-year two-year mission in the New Alaskan-Canadian Mission field. A testimonial honoring Dalley will be held at the 13th Ward chapel at 3070 Nila Way Sunday. Nov. 12 at 4:30 p. m. Dalley graduated from Basic High School at Henderson, attended at-tended CSU in Cedar City and the BYU in Provo, and this past year moved to Salt Lake City where he was living at the time of his call to the mission field. I Cardon Dalley, a brother and' presently a student at CSU, will offer the benediction at the testi-l inonial, and David Bray, a former student and member of the football foot-ball squad at CSU with Dalley,1 will offer the invocation. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Orton, former Paro-wan Paro-wan residents, will give a musical musi-cal number on the program. |
