Show Legion to Sponsor Vets Day Observance Parowan Post No. 20 of the American Legion will cooperate with the Parowan High School in sponsoring the annual Veteran's Day program ond Friday, Nov. 10, it is announced by Bill Barton, Legion Post commander. The program will be held Jit 11 a. m. Friday in the high school auditorium with the public pub-lic invited to attend. This year a deviation will be made from the usual feature of the program, pro-gram, the annual oratorical contest, con-test, which will be held later in the season by request of state legion officials. The program this year will feature fea-ture Amos C. Hatch as speaker. Mr. Hatch has seen active service serv-ice in both World Wars I and II and has been an active member of the Parowan Post of the American Amer-ican Legion for many years. Special music for the meeting will be given by the students of the high school music department depart-ment under the direction of L. N. i Asay. Earl Bunn, post officer, , I will conduct the program. |
