Show Ten Cedar Youths Receive Commissions Ten young men from Cedar City were among 139 graduating R O T C cadets at Utah State Agricultural college, who were awarded commissions in the U. S. Army and Air Force Monday. Following graduation from the U S A C on June 1, the cadets will enter military service as second sec-ond lieutenants. The Cedar City men commissioned commis-sioned were as follows: Air Force, Administration and logistics, William M. Condie, Kenyon B. Fretwell, Bruce K. Gardner, Jerrald R. (Jerry) Sher-ratt, Sher-ratt, and Richard G. Southwlck; Flight operations, Thomas B. Car-don, Car-don, Karl B. Kenney, Keith L. Matheson and Edward H. Turek. Department of the Army: Ordinance, Or-dinance, Boyd C. Rollins. The annual commissioning exercises ex-ercises were held on the campus amphitheater with Col. Lewis H. Jones of Brigham City delivering the main address. |
