Show CLUB NOTES Mrs. Ralph Box Mrs. Carl Harrison entertained Wednesday evening at a luncheon lunch-eon and social at her home, with places set for Mrs. Reed Roberts, Mrs. Newel Wasden, Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Osborne, Mrs. Loran Hirschi and Mrs. LaVell Chamberlain. Members and their families of the Cedar Chapter 20, Order of Eastern Star, met Monday evening eve-ning at the Masonic temple for a covered dish dinner and bingo party. Mrs. Freeman Orr assisted by Mrs. Otto Junge ana xvirs. n. M. Endsley were hostesses for refreshments re-freshments to climax the evening's eve-ning's entertainment. Mrs. Arthur Fretwell entertained enter-tained 12 members of her club at luncheon Thursday, followed with an afternoon playing canasta. canas-ta. Mrs. Chauncey Macfarlane was hostess Thursday afternoon at a birde luncheon at her home. Guests included Mrs. Arthur Burnham, Mrs. Joseph Fakler, Mrs. J. M. Palmer, Mrs. Arnold Anderson, Mrs. S. W. Heyborne and Mrs. Lawrence Lowder. Mrs. Vernon Cummings was honored Monday at a farewell dinner by the members of her bridge club at Hotel El Escab ante. A lovely gift was presented present-ed to Mrs. Cummings by Mrs. Raymond Lee, Mrs. Arthur Burn-ham, Burn-ham, Mrs. Donald Mathews, Mrs. Merrill Kinz, Mrs. Dee Arthur, Mrs. LaNolr Jones, Mrs. Wayne Jackson, Mrs. Sam Gentry, Mrs. Hugh Cheever, Mrs. Giles Bolan-der Bolan-der and Mrs. Rex Harris. Thursday evening the members of her club were the gusts of Mrs. Stanley Bryan ior luncneun and bridge. Special guests were Mrs. D. L. Hunter, Mrs. DeVon Green and Mrs. Court Nelson. Score prizes were awarded to Mrs. Merrill Kunz, Mrs. Dan Gil-dies, Gil-dies, Mrs. R. C. Morris and Mrs. Grant Biederman. |
