Show KANARRAVH1E Mrs. Mina Piatt has gone to Baker, Ore., having been called there because of the sudden death of her son-in-law, Robert Hottel, who was crushed beneath a large truck he was working on. Mrs. Piatt will stay with her daughter for some time. Mrs. Hottel Hot-tel is the former Rebecca Piatt, and the couple were former residents resi-dents of this community. Rose tying ceremonies for the Mia Maids of the Kanarraville ward were held May 23 under the direction of their leader, Iona Llverrhore. The young ladles participating par-ticipating were: Helen Davis, Rose Marie Williams, Phillis Piatt, Calda Davis and Mariam Williams. Some of the stake MIA officers were in attendance. Marvin Christensen spent the week end home from Las Vegas where he is employed. Many of our people attended the graduation exercises which have been held in Cedar City during the past week. |
