Show I Former Resident Dies In Salt Lake City Leo Corlett, 51, former Cedar City resident, died suddenly In Salt Lake City Friday of a heart ailment. He was reported to have spent the day at work, apparently apparent-ly In good health. and feeling fine, but succumbed a half hour after returning to his home In the evening. Mr. Corlett was born in Cedar City on June 19, 1902, a son of Thomas and Mae Benson Corlett. He married Ina Heyborne of Cedar Ce-dar City on April 23, 1923, and later married Viola Baker of Salt Lake City. He is survived by his mother, two sons, Lewis H. Corlett, serving serv-ing with the armed forces In Korea, Ko-rea, and Charles H. Corlett, Cedar City; a daughter, Mrs. Val (Mary Lou) Church, Panguitch; four grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Vaughn Allred, Price; Mrs. Bculah Bosshardt, San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Maxlne Quinney, Tremonton, Utah. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed by Bishop Jesse A. Watson, in Salt Lake City Tuesday with burial made in the Salt Lake City cemetery. Speakers at the services ser-vices were Richard Ashard, Wm. Cooke, Sr., and Richard J. Stone. Invocation was by Wm. T. Hart, benediction by Max Larkin and the dedicatory prayer by Val Church. Prelude music was by Thelma Ryser, and the musical program Included a violin solo, "Perfect Day", by Lucille McDonald, and two organ solos, "Oh, My Father", and "One Sweetly Solemn Thought", by Mrs. Ryser. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Corlett and Mrs. Mary B. Heyborne of Cedar City, traveled to Salt Lake City to attend the services. |
