Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Arlen Grimshaw went to Salt Lake City last Friday and passed his physical for military service. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw. Hunter Gibson is home from the hospital where he spent a week after undergoing an operation. oper-ation. He is getting along fine. Mr. and Mrs. Tod Chamberlain and family of Milford spent Saturday Sat-urday visiting with his sisters, Helen and Rua Jones. Douglas Grimshaw and his wife and baby left Wednesday to make their home in Pi'x-he, Nov. for about a month. Then they will move to Ely. Mr. and Mrs. Roice Chamberlain Chamber-lain or Orderville spent Saturday here visiting with Mrs. Chamberlain's Chamber-lain's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Gibson. Mrs. Cora Goodwin Good-win of Minersville is also visiting visit-ing with the Gibsons for a while. Mrs. Ethel Baggs of St. George spent the week end visiting with the Grimshaws. The young people from here who graduated from the B A C this year are: Douglas Grimshaw, Franklin Jones, Anna Smith and Renee Jones. Graduating from high school are Barbara Grimshaw Grim-shaw and Lorin Jones. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson have gone to Wyoming to finish out the shearing season. John may also shear in Montana and Idaho. Ivor Jones is in Wyoming shearing sheep. The Misses Marilyn Richardson Richard-son and Corle Gibson went to Parowan last Sunday to graduate from Bee Hive work into the Mia Maid class. Accompanying the girls were their class teacher Drusilla Smith, Primary president presi-dent Mildred Maxwell, and her counselor Ina Richardson. The adult Aaronic Priesthood of the Enoch ward honored Douglas Doug-las Grimshaw at a farewell party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. La-Mar La-Mar Matheson Monday evening. The time was spent in playing games after which a delicious lunch was served. |
