Show Federation Readies Fisherman's Ball Two days before the opening of the season fishermen of Cedar City will be fishing for prizes in the gala Fisherman's ball to be held at the airport administration administra-tion building on Thursday, June 4. Sponsored by the Cedar City Wildlife Federation, the second annual Fisherman's ball will be highlighted with the awarding of three outstanding prizes during dur-ing intermission, Lawrence Misel, president, stated. Top prize of the evening will be a complete spinning outfit including in-cluding pole, reel, line, etc. Second Sec-ond prize to be awarded to some lucky fisherman will be a glass fly rod, with the third and last prize to be a tackle box. Mr.. Misel urges that patrons "come as they are" to the annual affair. Following in the footsteps of last year's first Fisherman's ball, the affair promises to be a huge success. Timed two days prior to the season opening all can plan attendance, Mr. Misel states. |
