Show Parowan Stake Outing Enjoyed By 300 Members Almost 300 members of the six wards of the Parowan stake gathered at the Five Mile recreation recrea-tion camp in Parowan canyon on Tuesday evening for the annual stake outing for that' organization.. organiza-tion.. Every ward in the stake was well represented at the canyon can-yon playground. Softball and volley ball took the spotlight in the early evening with group suppers following at the various camp sites. This was followed by a program at the eampfire circle with numbers on the program being given by each ward. Paragonah ward's representative representa-tive started the program with an accordion solo, followed by a girls trio from the Parowan First ward singing two numbers. Next was another accordion solo by Wilford Young representing the Parowan Second ward, and he was followed by three vocal solos by Joan Orton of Parowan Third ward who accompanied herself on a guitar. Next was a trumpet solo from the Summit ward representative, rep-resentative, with a male quartet from Enoch ward, consisting of Henry Grimshaw, Elwyn Armstrong, Arm-strong, George D. Grimshaw and ivor D. Jones, singing several |
