Show NEWS FROM SUMMIT I Miss Connie Davenport is spending her vacation in Kanab with her aunt, Mrs. Carroll Davis, Da-vis, the former Miss Carroll Dal-ley. Dal-ley. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dalley and sons visited here Monday at the home of Mr. Dalley's father, John Dalley. Mrs. Winnell Dalley Harrison of California Is here spending some time helping her father, John Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence have returned home from their honeymoon trip to Colorado and are making their home in Paro-wan Paro-wan where Mr. Lawrence is principal prin-cipal of the elementary school. The Misses Charlotte and Pauline Paul-ine Rennie of Parowan spent the week end in Summit with their grandmother, Mrs. Hulda Peterson. Peter-son. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Berry of Cedar City were visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker and family fam-ily Sunday. Mrs. Carrol Johnson and Mrs. Margaret Allen spent Sunday in Cedar City. Mrs. Ardena Dalley Is back from Salt Lake City where she has been visiting with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Crawford, while Mrs. Crawford was in the hospital for surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Jones of Enterprise are here visiting with their son-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stapley and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley. Lester Dalley is in the Iron County hospital suffering from a serious infection of the ear. The ward members met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet Monday night to honor Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence, who were recently married. A program pro-gram was presented and refreshments refresh-ments were served to a large crowd. Mrs. Charles Rennie and children chil-dren of Parowan spent Monday with her mother, Mrs. Hulda Peterson. Pet-erson. Mrs. Neita Jones was injured Saturday when the car she was driving skidded on the wet pavement pave-ment and erased into another car. She suffered leg injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. She is reported to be recovering satisfactorily. Miss La Rue Dalley, who Is working at Zion National Park this summer, is home for a short visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Benson visited in Parowan Sunday. The 4-H club members left Tuesday evening to attend the annual 4-H encampment at Duck Creek. Mrs. Cleo Ridlye, Mrs. Ardena Ar-dena Dalley, Mrs. Leona Smith and Mrs. Minnie Dalley are accompanying ac-companying the girls during the outing. Mrs. Lillien Fortheringham of Milford was here last week visiting visit-ing with her sister, Mrs. Alice Walker, and family. |
