Show 1 ---- i SOCIETY NOTES Mrs. Ralph Box A patio party and supper was held Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Osborne in honor of Mr. and Mrs. J. Leonardi and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith. Those present for the affair were the honored guests, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mathews, Mr. and Mrs. Giles Bo-lander, Bo-lander, Mr. and Mrs. Osborne, Mr. and Mrs. Thad Baldwin, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Kitterman and Virginia Vir-ginia Randall. A gift was presented pre-sented to Mr. and Mrs. Smith in commemoration of their retirement re-tirement from Sprouse-Rcitz- Co. Mrs. Fred Biederman left Friday Fri-day by plane for Oklahoma City because of the sudden illness of her mother. Mr. and Mrs. Wess Owens and two daughters have been visiting visit-ing here during the past week as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Ster-ling Posey and family. The Owens are former residents of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Freeman, Free-man, former Cedar City residents, but now of New Mexico, spent the week end in this city. Richard and Vance, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Balin Staniford, are visiting in Provo this weekj. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hunter of Phoenix, Ariz., arrived early this week for a visit with Mrs. Hunter's Hunt-er's mother, Mrs. J. N. Smith. The Hunters were former business people of this city, with the Hunter Hun-ter Cleaners. Overnight guests early this week of Mr. and Mrs. DeVon Green were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Pryor and three children of Lynn-wood, Lynn-wood, Calif. Also here for a visit are Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Bol-yard Bol-yard and two sons of Oklahoma City. Mrs. Bolyard is the sister of Mrs. Green. |
