Show BERYL NEWS NOTES The annual tour of the farms of Escalante Valley will be held on July 31, it was decided at a meeting of the Escalante Valley Coordinating Council held last week. Meeting with the council was ' Stephen L. Brower," ' Iron County agricultural agent, who assisted in outlining plans for the tour. The tour will be made during the forenoon, and at noon a pot-1 luck lunch will be served at the Escalante Valley school house. During the afternoon the Beryl Livestock club will hold its annual an-nual show. Because of the need in the area for a recreation building, build-ing, it was decided by the council coun-cil to charge for the lunch. All funds raised will go toward a fund to provide such recreation facilities. On June 30 a wedding dance was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. William Malan of Beryl. The dance was held at Modena and was given by the groom's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boss-hardt. Boss-hardt. Many people attended from Beryl, Enterprise and Modena. Mo-dena. The couple will make a home on the Modena highway at the Carroll farm. |
