Show New Owners Take Over Billiard Parlor George Nelson, who has operated oper-ated the Nelson Billiard Parlor In Cedar City for the past 10 years, announces that he has disposed of the business, selling to Johnny Lynch and Joe Roberts. Rob-erts. The new owners took possession pos-session of the billiard parlor Tuesday morning, July 1. Lynch and Roberts have been in Cedar City for some time working - as drillers for the Boyles Drilling company at the iron mines west of CedaV City. Mr. Nelson states that he sold the business because of poor health, and plans to rest for the next several months in an effort to improve his health condition. He opened the business 10 years ago, operating in the basement base-ment of the Cedars hotel building build-ing until 15 months ago, when he leased the Jack Isbell building build-ing on Main street where the par-lor par-lor has been operated since. The new owners hav purchased all equipment of the business and taken over Mr. Nelson's lease on the building. Mr. Nelson has operated the business with the assistance of his wife and his son Granville, during most of the 10 years of operation. The new owners will operate the business under the name of "L and . R Recreation Center," they state. |
