Show I KANARRAVILLE NEWS Devon Reeves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves, who was home on a two-week leave from the service returned to a camp in Texas last week. Mrs. Diana Sabin and her two children of Escondido, Calif., have returned to their home after af-ter spending' a week here and in Cedar City and Parowan, with relatives and friends. She was in company with her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Parker and her brother Melvln, and sister sis-ter Verdon of Compton, Calif., who also returned home. Melvin was to enter military service on Tuesday. Mrs. Violet LaBass and children chil-dren of California are visiting here with her father, Sam L. Pollock. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Reeves visited the Safeway Store's anniversary anni-versary last Saturday and were presented with a beautiful electric elec-tric Dulane Fryryte, for being the oldest married couple (ages combined). Mr. Reeves was 85 and Mrs. Reeves, 83. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Williams Wil-liams of Las Vegas were Sunday visitors herewith relatives. Ivor Roundy of Los Angeles is here for a few days visiting with friends. He was a former resident resi-dent of this community. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Davis and daughter Calda, were visitors in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Davis of Venice, Utah, visited last week at the home of their aunt, Mrs. Phoebe Davis. . Dick Fife of Cedar City has returned home after spending a week with his grandmother, Mrs. Hannah A. Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Allison Williams and some of their children of Pocatello, Idaho, were here for a few days this week, visiting with v their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hertry Williams. |
