Show Botarians Install Officers at i Saturday Banquet &V ' flOi SMOOT SEAMAN New officers of the Cedar City Rotary club were installed at the annual Installation banquet held at El Escalante hotel Saturday evening, and 13 members of the club who have perfect records rec-ords of attendance were honored. Installed as president of the club was Smoot Seaman, who has served as vice president during dur-ing the past year, and who has a five-year perfect attendance record. He received the president's presi-dent's gavel from H. M. Endsley, retiring president. Other officers who took office with Mr. Seaman were, W. Arthur Jones and Carl Wasmuth, vice presidents; Glen Kenney and Rovce Knieht. directors: Adam Seegmiller and Nathan Byers,1 Sergeants-at-arms, and Less Wahl, treasurer. Robert Smith, a former president presi-dent of the club and long an active member, was given special recognition for maintaining a 15-" 15-" year perfect attendance record. Smoot Seaman has a record of five years, Giles Bolander, three, and Elloyd Marchant," two years of perfect attendance. The other nine have receords of one year of uninterrupted attendance. Each received an attendance pin at the banquet Saturday. Following the banquet the Ro-tarians Ro-tarians and their guests enjoyed an evening of dancing. |
