Show New Historical Movie OfU. S. Cavalry Now Showing Here Playing at the Cedar theatre this week end is the Warner Bros, technicolor motion picture "Bugles "Bu-gles in the Afternoon," a historical histori-cal picture filmed last summer in the vicinity of Kanab. The picture opened at the local theatre thea-tre Wednesday and will continue contin-ue through Saturday. Those who saw it Wednesday night indicate that the picture is one of the better bet-ter ones filmed in this areas for some time. The world premiere of the film was held in Salt Lake City last week with a delegation from Hollywood headed by Ray Mil-land, Mil-land, star of the picture, on hand to make personal appearances in connection with the premiere celebration. The picture deals with the heroic he-roic exploits of the United States cavalry during the Indian Wars of the 1870s, and utilizing the colorful scenery of the Kanab area very effectively. Principal character in the story is played by Milland, supported by Helena Carter, Forrest Tucker, Hugh Marlowe, Gertrude Michael, and others. |
