Dale Christensen, who was home from Korea on a 30-day rotation ro-tation leave, left last week to report for duty at Camp Carson, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Barthol-mue Barthol-mue and baby of Fayette, Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Franco Fran-co and baby of Cannonville, .Utah, visited with, their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Reeves. ' Some of our townspeople attended at-tended the anuual banquet of the Southern Utah Poultry and farmers farm-ers Cooperative held at the El Es- calante hotel In Cedar City Sat-1 urday evening. Ben Linfield and sister Mary of Lund, Nev., and other relatives rela-tives from Ely, Nev., visited a short time at the home of Mrs. Mina Piatt Friday. - - After a few days of springlike spring-like weather we had another heavy snowstorm Monday night, March 10. About 15 inches of wet snow fell during the night. A son was born at the Iron County hospital March 8 to Mr. and Mrs. Garth Pollock. Henry Mower spent the week end at Mead Lake fishing. Mrs. Verlyn Stout and children and Mrs. Alva Batty and children were week-end visitors at Las Vegas, Nev. Park Williams of Salt Lake City was here on business this week. |
